Description

Come along to Bright, Victoria and create your own special ring stack, using 925 Sterling Silver.

No prior experience is required. The classes are designed for beginners, so you can learn the craft of silversmithing while having a bit of fun. Though best of all ... you get to wear your beautiful creations home (or you could make them for someone special in your life).

Lisa is a self taught silversmith and has over 6 years of experience. She will guide you through the process step by step, in a relaxed, calm and friendly environment.

CLASSES ARE FOR 12 YEARS AND OVER

Minimum number of students to run the class: 3

What to bring: :

• Hair tie - long hair will need to be tied back

• Reading glasses - if you wear them.

• Enclosed shoes

• Water Bottle 

  What is provided:

  • Tuition

  • Sterling Silver

  • Quality Tools

  • Apron

  • Safety glasses

  What you can expect on the day:

  There will be a class size of 4 in each workshop

  2 x 1.5 mm Solid Sterling Silver Wire

  1 x 2 mm Sterling Silver Bubble Wire

  You will learn the basics of silversmithing:

  • Sizing your finger with a ring sizer

    1. Measuring your wires

    2. Filing

    3. Sanding

    4. Shaping

    5. Soldering

    6. Texturing the metal (if required)

    7. Pickling

    8. Polishing

    While we are polishing your beautiful rings in the tumbler, we can relax and chat.

  Payments are final and non refundable. If the situation arises and you are unable to make it to the workshop you can send somebody else in your place on the day.
