Hoops Workshop @ Bright Eclectic
Come along to Bright, Victoria and create your own special hoop earrings, using 925 Sterling Silver.
No prior experience is required. The classes are designed for beginners, so you can learn the craft of silversmithing while having a bit of fun. Though best of all … you get to wear your beautiful creations home (or you could make them for someone special in your life).
Lisa is a self taught silversmith and has over 6 years of experience. She will guide you through the process step by step, in a relaxed, calm and friendly environment.
CLASSES ARE FOR 12 YEARS YEARS AND OVER ONLY

Hair tie - long hair will need to be tied back
Reading glasses - if you wear them.

What you can expect on the day:
There will be a class size of 4 in each workshop
Minimum number for a class to run is 3
We will make one set of hoop earrings
1 x 2mm Solid Sterling Silver
1 x pair of earring hooks
You will learn the basics of silversmithing:
Sizing your finger with a ring sizer
Measuring your wires
Filing
Sanding
Shaping
Soldering
Texturing the metal (if required)
Pickling
Polishing
While we are polishing your beautiful hoops in the tumble we can relax and chat.
